Mission & Vision

Disciples making Disciples

The Vision

Because the Valley matters
The vision of First Assembly of God is to create and disciple a community of authentic believers and to witness the valley transformed by the life-changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The Misson

Make  Heaven Crowded and Bankrupt Hell
Because the Valley matters, First Assembly of God exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who bring healing, hope, and restoration that lead to real revival in our communities through worship, service, and everyday faith.  We endeavor to be a place where disciples make disciples

Our Values

People Over Programs
Every person in the Valley bears God’s image and infinite worth. We choose relationship, presence, and compassion over efficiency or hype.
Faith that Shows Up
We don’t love the Valley from a distance. We live here, serve here, listen here, and stay here — especially when things are hard.
Gospel-Centered Everything
The good news of Jesus shapes our message, our motives, and our methods. Grace leads the way in how we speak, serve, and love. We read, study, focus and pray on the Bible and its teachings.
Radical Hospitality
No matter your background, doubts, wounds, or story—you belong here. We create spaces where people are known, welcomed, and safe to grow.
Deep Roots, Real Impact
We are committed to long-term faithfulness, not quick wins. We invest in people, families, and leaders who will shape this Valley for generations.
Humble Service
We follow Jesus by serving quietly, generously, and sacrificially—seeking the good of others without needing credit or control. We will practice the servant leadership modeled by Jesus.
Unity in Diversity
The Valley is beautifully diverse, with many different cultures and generations, and we celebrate that. We pursue unity without demanding uniformity, honoring every culture and story God brings without compromising God’s Word.
Hope for Revival
We believe God is at work here. Even in broken places, we expect healing, restoration, and new life—because this Valley matters to Him and true revival is needed.
We Love to Celebrate
We intentionally celebrate God’s faithfulness—big and small. From salvations to everyday grace, we pause to rejoice, remembering that joy strengthens our faith and unites our community. Our desire is to celebrate as Heaven celebrates.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God who is the Creator of all things. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. He is unconditionally loving, relentlessly merciful, and absolutely just. And He has revealed himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life. He died a substitutionary death on the cross. And He was raised from the dead on the third day.
We believe that humankind is created in the image of God. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And we believe that unconditional love, unlimited forgiveness, and undying hope are found in Jesus Christ—the one and only mediator between God and man.

We believe that God is beyond human reason and imagination, but He has revealed himself through His word. The Bible is our source of divine inspiration and timeless wisdom. We believe the Bible is inspired, authoritative, and infallible.
We believe the Spirit of God indwells every believer. The fruits of the Spirit are the by-product of a spirit-filled life and evidence of spiritual maturity. The gifts of the Spirit should be earnestly sought and used to serve others and glorify God.
